Both (Acting Major General) Felix Kurayigye, the UPDF Spokesperson and (ACP)Rusoke Kituuma,the Police Spokesperson have insisted on denial of security agencies to be behind the abduction of Chairman Nyanzi Fred Ssentamu,NUP’s Secretary for Mobilization.
On this, Kurayigye bite the spoon harder by sarcastically remarking that “I have heard that David Lewis Rubongoya, NUP’s Secretary General has said that Chairman Nyanzi is being held custody from Wandegeya Police Station, since you are a journalist, go and make your own research as well or you want me to do your job?”
Chairman Nyanzi who’s also the elder brother to NUP’s President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu was on 17th, 02/2025 reportedly abducted from his car at Kubiiri Roundabout by heavily armed men and taken away in a drone to an unknown destination.

HAVE WE GOT REBELLS IN THIS COUNTRY?
Dr.Swaibu Kaggwa Nsereko, the JEEMA Deputy Spokesperson, who is also a Busiro North MP aspirant said that when it comes to Security matters, we doubt not the effectiveness of NRM government. I thus find it more interesting for Chairman Nyanzi to be whisked away in a drone in broad day light and the both the UPDF and Police claim to be not in the know.
Kaggwa stressed further that “when Obote(2)’s government was tainted with extra-judicial killings and people’s abductions, it’s PROs refuted the claim by siting that those atrocities were being done by rebels who were then led by President Museveni.
It’s at this point that Kaggwa posed a sensitive question that “If neither UPDF nor Police have Chairman Nyanzi in their custody, does this government want us to believe that have we got rebels in this country?”
Both Kurayigye and Rusoke didn’t answer this question but continued to rest assure the population that the country’s security is tight.

GENERAL DDAMULIRA WAS BEHIND NYANZI‘S ARREST:-MUFUMBIRO.
Alex Waisswa Mufumbiro, the NUP deputy spokesperson, who also happened to be with Nyanzi at the time of his abduction, emphasized that Nyanzi was abducted by Kifeesis on the orders of (Brigadier General) Christopher Ddamulira Sserunjogi, the Director of Crime Intelligence in Uganda Police.
Mufumbiro also alleged that Ddamulira has been the sole commander of the arrest of NUP supporters from the 2021 General elections time and inhuman torture extended to them in custody.
Mufumbiro concluded by equating Ddamulira to Maliyangu.
WHO WAS MALIYANGU?
(Brigadier)Isaac Maliyamungu was a Ugandan military officer who served as one of President Iddi Amin’s most important officials and supporters during his military dictatorship rule of 1971–79.
As the Amin’s military dictatorship eroded among the country’s masses and elites, Maliyamungu was one of his few remaining trusted confidants who was responsible for brutal suppressing of dissidents throughout the country.
Though Maliyangu had amassed a lot of power in Amin’s government, when it was overthrown, he run to exile in Sudan where he died of food poisoning in February 1984.
His widow Cecilia Among and family are now grassing from a small one roomed house in the slums of Bukoto.
SECURITY HAS BEEN MONITORING NYANZI FOR THE PAST FOUR YEARS
Our security source confirmed to this mighty website that just like the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria on June 28, 1914 by Gavrilo Princip was the immediate spark off of World War 1,the foot soldier military like parade Nyanzi organised at NUP’s headquarters in Makerere-Kavule at the height of celebrating Kyagulanyi’s 43rd birthday was just the immediate spark of his arrest but they have been closely monitoring him for the past four years and they have a big red file on him.
He added that Nyanzi was among the main people they wanted to arrest from Kalangala in 2021 during elections but he was just lucky not to be among the foot soldiers that had joined Kyagulanyi on that rally.
He added further that last year only, they planned five times to arrest Nyanzi but their commanders would unjustifiably at the last minute withdraw his arrest orders.
WHAT IS THE TRUE CAUSE OF NYANZI’S’ ARREST
Our source undressed that they arrested Nyanzi for basically three reasons;
1) Nyanzi built a youth gang that’s capable to over throw the government. This gang is called Kampala Yaffe (Kampala belongs to us) and the rocket speed it has grown in the past two years scared intelligence more.
Security reports indicate that the gang has got approximately 1000 subscribers and has got commanders in every village in Kampala and more than 20 people who believe in them.
To make matters worse, the gang commanders are too royal to Nyanzi to an extent that they can even sacrifice their lives for Nyanzi just like Jesus died for our sins when it necessitates them too.
The gang has also got a special and quick networking system because should Nyanzi call the Commander General and ask him to mobilise his troops, with in 30 minutes they all be in the agreed place.
It’s this networking system that security thinks Nyanzi used to mobilise all the foot soldiers that made a military like parade at Makerere-Kavule without security knowing.
Since Nyanzi’s politics is driven on defiance, with his gang, security saw him as a serious threat to the state because should the country be in political uncertainty like that of the One million Match to Entebbe airport, Nyanzi can quickly mobilize people and start slow protests that can later become sower like the case was in Libya with Col Maummer Gaddafi and in Sudan with Omar Bashir
2) The untraceable source of Nyanzi’s wealth yet his’ damn rich.
For example he has two commercial flats, many rental houses, a watching bay in Kamwokya. He also owns over 10 prime plots in Kampala and a 1.5 billion worthy Mansion in Kyebando.
That Nyanzi has enough money to spend during campaigns without going to a bank or money lenders to borrow money which means even if Nyanzi wins or loses an election, he’s financial situation will remain stable.
On top of this, Nyanzi had been a secret funder of Uganda Young Democrats and other DP activities.
Our source says that what perturbs security more is that Nyanzi has got no official job or business from which he can accumulate all that wealth.
Those who know Nyanzi say Nyanzi has been a known city land broker. On this he established a clearing site company and that he was the first person to begin catching grasshoppers from Kampala.
3) The tricks Nyanzi uses to block government from tracing NUP diaspora funds. Security has credible information that NUP’s diaspora funds are always enter the country through Nyanzi but for years, they have failed to track them and when they monitor his bank accounts, they are always dormant.
NYANZI’S’ ARREST WAS INEVITABLE
Kafeero Ssekitooleko Robert, the former Nakifuma County legislator asserts that Nyanzi’s arrest was inevitable because he’s the chief trainer of foot soldiers government is trying to eliminate. So since the fish rots from the head, it would make security agencies a laughable stock to claim to be breaking the foot soldiers’ chain and leave out their head.
