Lay Reader Paul Michael Kaye of St. Luke Town Church, Kirangira Town Church of Uganda, delivered a heartfelt message during the Speech Day and Graduation ceremony at Close the Gap Namataba Junior School in Mukono District.
He urged students to obey their parents and love God, emphasizing that God has a plan for everyone’s life and stressing the importance of maintaining peace in the present.
The event included remarks from George William Buwembo, Chairperson of Kanyogoga Village, who praised the school’s founder, Patrick Kanyiike, for fostering development and offering free education to local children.
Hon. Nantongo Jane Wabwire, the guest of honor, commended the school for preparing students holistically and encouraged tree planting as a sustainable initiative.
Headteacher Richard Okiloro highlighted the school’s mission to help students discover and nurture their talents, build confidence, and thrive in life.
Director Patrick Kanyiike expressed his gratitude for the support received and shared his vision of using personal experiences and blessings to inspire and uplift others.
