Seeta High School, Main Campus Mukono, has performed exceptionally well in the 2024 S.6 examinations, with 18 students scoring 20 points and several others attaining grades that qualify them for university admission. The Headteacher, Ms. Namulondo Lillian, attributed this success to God’s guidance, dedication, and the school’s commitment to academic excellence. She urged parents to embrace the adapted A-Level curriculum, emphasizing that it will greatly benefit students.

“Many schools across the country are still celebrating their S.6 results, but Seeta High School, Main Campus Mukono, stands out as one of the top-performing institutions in Uganda. Out of 198 candidates, 18 scored 20 points, while many others earned qualifications that will secure them places at various universities” Ms.Namulondo noted.

Speaking to the media, Ms. Namulondo Lillian expressed her deep gratitude to God for enabling this remarkable achievement. She highlighted the school’s dedication to academic excellence and encouraged parents to support the adapted A-Level curriculum as it will provide great opportunities for their children.

In the same vein, the Deputy Headteacher, Mr. Muwumba Hosam, who is also in charge of academics, extended appreciation to parents for entrusting them with their children and providing all necessary support. He also praised the founders of the school for their continued assistance in ensuring that students have all the resources they need. He encouraged more parents to enroll their children at Seeta High School.

Meanwhile, teachers, led by Mr. Bwire Perezi, the Head of Physics at the school, revealed that their strategy for success included motivating students, encouraging self-confidence, and engaging them in various academic workshops.

Additionally, Mr. Orulo Charles emphasized that their success was a result of proper preparation, sufficient time allocation for revision, and administering a variety of assessment tests to help students excel.
