Rev. Wilson Galimaka, the proprietor of Rimage Classic School in Lugazi Municipality, Buikwe District, called on parents to actively teach their children life skills at home, ensuring they excel in all aspects of life, not just academics.
He made this appeal during the school’s Speech Day event, where students showcased various performances, including singing, playing games, and bidding farewell to the Top Class students transitioning to P.1.
Rev. Galimaka emphasized the importance of parents nurturing their children’s abilities during the break, preparing them to become well-rounded individuals who can excel in a competitive world. He stressed that the role of parents is crucial in shaping their children’s future.
Accompanying Rev. Galimaka, Mrs. Suzan Matale, the school’s Deputy Head, also encouraged parents to love and raise their children with good manners, as children are a gift from God.
She further urged students to obey their parents, who are the source of wisdom.
Principal Efulansi Galimaka thanked the parents for their continued support and partnership with the school, encouraging them to keep working together for the success of their children in the coming year.
The event featured a variety of performances, including games, poetry recitations, singing, and skits, highlighting the talents of the students.
