Henry Luboowa, the acting Secretary General for the Democratic Alliance, who’s also a hopeful Nansana Municipality legislator has confirmed to this mighty website that this Friday (14th,03/2025) there going to be unveiling their national wide coordinators.
This spectacular event is going to be at their movement headquarters located at Bishop Road,Namirembe Hill-Kampala starting at 9:00 AM.
WHAT’S THE GOING TO BE THE MAJOR DUTY OF THESE CO-ORDINATORS
One of the aids of Owek: Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba,the national coordinator of DA let the cat out of the bag that the no easy task of carrying out grass root mobilization for the movement is going to be major duty of the identified coordinators.
HOW THESE CO-ORDINATORS ARE GOING TO DO THEIR WORK
These individuals are going to do this noble task voluntarily in their areas of jurisdiction and are to use the door to door mobilization format to be able to reach out to every person in person to preach to them the ideologies of their movement.
Mpuuga’s aid disclosed further that should this program be successful, they will go to the next step of building structures of their movement from the village level up to the National level.
IS MPUUGA HEADING TO FORMING A POLITICAL PARTY?
It’s here that Makara Ssabiti,a Political Science Professor from the famous Makerere University argued that “in politics, when a pressure group establishes firm structures especially in a state where political parties are free to exercise, there’s always no doubt for such a group to transform into a political party” but when we asked Luboowa whether they are heading to forming a political party, his reply wasn’t straight.
He stated that “we are not in rush and mind you, when you rush, you crush. When that time comes, we shall gladly invite you to grace it’s launch just like we have always did.”
