The timely delivery of FDM vaccines follows a proactive engagement between the CDF Muhoozi Kainerugaba and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi in October in Cairo.

In his address, Bwino thanked the CDF for having had such a fruitful engagement with President Al-Sisi.

He also remarked that the initial doses received have been administered in the high-risk areas of the cattle corridor. He added that the final batch equipment will help Uganda to deal with the FMD problem decisively.

He concluded by thanking the President Yoweri Museveni for championing good relations between Uganda and Egypt.
