Dedication and Sacrifice Pay Off as Two Mt. St. Henry’s High School Mukono Students Score 20 Points.

Mt. St. Henry’s High School Mukono has performed exceptionally well in the 2024 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations. Two students scored the maximum 20 points, while all other students scored marks qualifying them for university admission out of a total of 180 candidates.

The Headmistress, Ms. Nakalembe Teopista, expressed her joy and appreciation for the students’ dedication and sacrifice, noting that they worked hard, sacrificed sleep, and maintained discipline. She further stated that they expect many of the students to benefit from government sponsorship at university.

Following the release of the 2024 UACE results by the Uganda national examination board (UNEB), several schools have been celebrating their achievements. At Mt. St. Henry’s High School Mukono, all science and Arts students scored marks qualifying them for university admission.

Ms. Nakalembe commended the teachers for their tireless efforts in ensuring the students’ success and thanked parents for their timely provision of school requirements. She praised the students for their commitment and discipline, emphasizing that they are well-prepared to pursue their studies under government sponsorship.

After thanking God for their success, the Headmistress also appreciated the Government of Uganda, particularly the Ministry of Education and Sports, for implementing the Adapted Curriculum for A’ Level students. She expressed confidence that their students will benefit from it in their future endeavors.

One of the top students, Damba Regan John Bosco, who scored 20 points in PEM/ICT and intends to pursue Civil Engineering, expressed gratitude to God and the school administration for giving him the opportunity to study. He also urged fellow students to take their studies seriously to achieve their future goals.
