“Bishop Kagodo Urges Students to Remain Submissive to God amidst Challenges, Saying He Has the Power to Transform Lives”

The 5th Diocesan Bishop of Mukono, The Rt. Rev. Enos Kitto Kagodo, has urged students to remain submissive to God in all situations, emphasizing that God has the power to transform their lives in ways that will cause them to give thanks in the future. He reminded them that God opposes the proud and lifts those who are humble.

At Dekamos Media Services, we are here to remind you that capturing your great moments is our passion.

Bishop Kagodo made the call during a thanksgiving service held at Bishop Senior School, Mukono, for Senior Four and Senior Six candidates who sat their final exams in 2024.

The service also included the dedication of the new student leadership body.

In his message, the Bishop appreciated the school management for its consistent culture of honoring God and giving thanks for achievements. He encouraged them to continue walking in faith, assuring them that God rewards those who honor Him.

The Head teacher, Mr. Robert Kyakulaga, praised the students’ academic performance, especially the Senior Four candidates, who were the first to sit for exams under the new curriculum. All 347 students passed, which he described as a historic and precedent-setting achievement for the school. Additionally, three Senior Six students scored 20 points at UACE—a milestone never before reached at Bishop Senior School since its inception.
