Bishop Kagodo Launches 92.7 Mukono FM, Calls for Christian Support and Engagement.

Bishop Kagodo urges Christians to Support and Listen to the New Diocesan Radio of Mukono Diocese for Spiritual and Physical Growth

In a call to action, our Father in God, Bishop Enos Kitto Kagodo, encouraged Christians to embrace the newly launched diocesan radio station, 92.7 Mukono FM (Mukono Broadcasting Service). Speaking at the official launch at the Mukono Diocese headquarters, Bishop Kagodo emphasized the need for spiritual and physical growth among listeners, urging them to support the station and share it with others.

At Dekamos Media Services, we are here to remind you that capturing your great moments is our passion.

The event was attended by key church leaders, including the Diocesan Secretary Rev. John Musoke, the Provost of St. Philip and Andrew’s Cathedral in Mukono, The Very Rev. Can. Godfrey Ssegendo, the Diocesan Treasurer Rev. Rogers Kityo, departmental heads within the diocese, and Christians from various regions.

It is worth noting that Mukono Diocese initially operated a radio station at 89.8 FM, which faced challenges in reaching the entire diocese and was eventually sold. The new station, 92.7 Mukono FM, is expected to bridge that gap and serve all Christians effectively, bringing ministry closer to the people of God.

During the launch, Bishop Kagodo encouraged Christians to listen to the radio, assuring them that it would transform their lives by building them spiritually and physically. He further appealed to the faithful to support the station and use it as a platform to spread the Word of God to others.

In his message, the Bishop also called upon Christians to remain steadfast in doing good, emphasizing that this radio is a blessing from God that should not be misused. He encouraged listeners to engage with the content and benefit from it fully.

On her part, Mrs. Catherine Kitto, the Bishop’s wife, appealed to women to take advantage of the radio station to advertise their businesses. She expressed gratitude to Bishop Kagodo and the entire diocesan leadership for their efforts in re-establishing the radio station and ensuring its success.

The launch of 92.7 Mukono FM marks a significant step forward for the Mukono Diocese as it seeks to enhance communication, evangelism, and outreach within the Church of Uganda community.
