Bishop Kagodo Criticizes Parents and Teachers for Discouraging Students, Weakening Their Morale Ahead of Final Exams 2024.

The Rt. Rev. Enos Kitto Kagodo of Mukono Diocese, Church of Uganda, made these remarks at St. Andrew’s Ndwaddemutwe Seed Secondary School in Kimenyedde Sub-county, Mukono District, during a special prayer and dedication service for Senior 4 and Senior 6 students preparing for their 2024 final exams.

 

 

Bishop Enos Kitto Kagodo Confirming Students in Christian Faith.                      Bishop Kagodo urged the students to trust in God for their success and criticized parents and teachers who have discouraged students, causing some to lose hope. He condemned negative words that diminish students’ morale and weaken their spirit.

The school’s head teacher, Nathan Kigongo, informed the bishop about the lack of adequate resources, including classrooms and seating, but assured that teachers had prepared the students well for their exams.

During the same event, Bishop Kagodo confirmed 70 students from St. Andrew’s Ndwaddemutwe Seed Secondary School and Ndwaddemutwe Church of Uganda Primary School. He also cautioned Christians against baptizing too many children without proper spiritual preparation, as it hinders effective nurturing in the faith.
