“Premier Rev. Galimaka Urges Banyala to Defend Their King and Uphold Unity”

The Prime minister for Bunyala Kingdom, Rev. Wilson Galimaka has called on the Banyala people to stand firm in defending their King, Ssabanyala Kimeze, against attacks from selfish groups and He condemned those who misuse the influence of the royal family to weaken the Ssabanyala and destabilize the Bunyala community.

The Rt. Hon. Rev. Willison Galimaka, made these remarks during the official inauguration and installation of the leader of the Ssabanyala for Kyerima sub-county, along with local leaders and committees that will help mobilize people in Bunyala.

Rev. Galimaka was warmly welcomed by the people of Ssabanyala, led by a brass band, at Mbulakati village in Kyerima, Kitimbwa Sub-county, Kayunga District.

While inaugurating and swearing in the newly elected leaders at the village level, Rev. Wilson Galimaka urged the Banyala people to avoid divisions, condemning those who use their family influence to undermine the Ssabanyala with the intention of weakening the Bunyala community.

He expressed disappointment that some Banyala have engaged in actions that discredit the Ssabanyala, vowing that it would never happen again. He further emphasized that there would be no re-election of Ssabanyala from the same family or lineage, as the current leader was chosen legitimately by the elders and will serve until God’s call.

Rev. Galimaka continued to encourage the Banyala people to focus on educating their children and working hard to develop Bunyala. He clarified that the Banyala are not in conflict with any other kingdom, as some claim. Instead, their main concern is to secure their rights and recognition, as Bunyala exists legally under the law.

Earlier, some leaders vowed to sacrifice and even die for the cause of Bunyala, pledging their full support to leaders who genuinely work for the betterment of the community.

The event was spearheaded by Samwiri Mukombe, who represented the minister in the local government of Bunyala, who explained the significance of the ceremony.

Mukuye Bekar(Mugala), the muwopi of Parish, pledged his dedication to serving the Ssabanyala in both good and bad times, to ensure the continued progress of Bunyala.
