All 247 students who sat for their Senior Four exams at Paul Mukasa SSS, Kigunga Mukono in 2024 passed in results one achieving grades A, B, and C.
Teachers have praised the new curriculum, stating that it played a significant role in the students’ success and will greatly benefit their future careers.
Speaking on behalf of the school, Deputy Head of Academics, Mr. Mukasa Moses explained their strategic approach to the final exams and confirmed that all students scored within the first-grade bracket (A, B, and C).
Mr. Mukasa expressed his gratitude to the teachers for their dedication and to the school founders, led by Hon. Rev. Dr. Peter Bakaluba Mukasa and his wife, the school principal, for providing the necessary resources to support academic excellence.
Additionally, he highlighted the benefits of the new curriculum, emphasizing that it has better prepared students for self-reliance compared to the previous system.
The class teacher, Ms. Namuganza Christine, expressed her excitement and thanked God for guiding the students.
She also praised the teamwork at Paul Mukasa SSS, which she believes played a crucial role in the students’ outstanding performance.
One of the top-performing students, Ahereza Mackline, also expressed gratitude to God, the teachers, the school principal, and the directors for their unwavering support.
She acknowledged that their guidance and resources made it possible for students to excel under the new curriculum.
