Hon.Derrick Nyeko,the Makindye East Legislator no longer resides from his home now. Even when he decides to pay his family a visit, he just slinks into the house more than an American solider intruding on a Vietnam camp
This hyper vigilant situation Nyeko is soaked in came after receiving multiple messages bearing threats that one of these days, he was going to be assassinated from his gate
Nyeko says that he initially took these threat messages lightly not until the same messages were sent on his secret line that’s accessed by close relatives and friends.

When Nyeko remembered the way AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi, Muhammed Kirumira,the former Buyende District Police Commander and Moslem Clergies who were gunned down on their way home and contemplated on the sharp bents that are in the close that leads to his home, he saw it too cheap for the assassins to finish him. He thus decided to run away from home.
THE MAFIAS WHO WANT ME DEAD ARE HIDING BEHIND THE SPEAKER’S CHAIR
Nyeko claims that Ibrahim Kasozi and Mike Mabike whom he described as political mafias are the very people who want to blow off his life candle such that they can take over his legislative seat.
It’s imperative to remember that Kasozi and Mabike are former legislators of this constituency
Nyeko also asserted that these mafias are hiding behind the chair of the Speaker Annitah Annet Among.
WHY WOULD THE SPEAKER AMONG INVOLVE HERSELF IN THE SCRAMBLE FOR MAKINDYE EAST?
When this mighty website posed this sensitive question to Nyeko, he confidently remarked that “In the 11th Parliament, its on record that Francis Zaake Butebi, the Mityana Municipality Legislator and I are the MPs that have made the Speaker’s seat a hot plate by continuously giving her headache on the floor of parliament especially at times of passing unlawful bills and we’ve also stood our ground of not accepting to be compromised by her bribes. It’s against that background her hatred on us is promax.
In the 12th parliament believe it or not Annitah has 90% chances of reclaiming her speakership seat but remember she sees us as a stone in a shoe, she has thus resolved to supporting our opponents such that they can cast us out of Parliament that’s why she heavily sponsors Mabike and Kasozi.”
WHY WOULD SPEAKER AMONG SPONSOR MABIKE AND KASOZI FOR THE SAME CONSTITUENCY?
Charles Rwomushana a political analyst interpreted that “It’s crucial not to forget that before the Speaker crossing to NRM,she formerly belonged to FDC, a party that Kasozi still subscribes to so for her to be sponsoring Kasozi can be equated to extending financial support to an old friend in need.
He added that the Speaker Among has got an incredible character of not forgetting where she came from and those who helped her during her struggling days.
Amongst the people that groomed Speaker Among to be what she’s today is Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba,the former LOP. Their friendship began at the time Mpuuga offered her a teaching job at his Datamine Technical Business School.
Despite Among and Mpuuga being staunch Catholics, their friendship grew stronger during the activism days of Walk to Work that’s why during his tenure as LOP, Among was fond of calling Mpuuga “my brother” a thing that always annoyed NUP’s secretariat.
When Mpuuga finally closed ties with NUP by forming his own pressure group, The Democratic Alliance, when broke Mabike run to Among seeking for sponsorship, as a gesture that she was appreciative of Mpuuga’s help in the old days, she was left with no option except to sponsor him as well”
CAN MABIKE AND KASOZI BE BEHIND THE THREATS AGAINST NYEKO’S LIFE?
Nyeko bases his allegation on the fact that the threat messages sent to him are always sent through WhatsApp using two different foreign lines
The lines are respectively UK and US coded. The UK sender concludes his/her text message by threatening Nyeko that he’s most likely to face it rough if he doesn’t abandon the race in favor of Kasozi whereas the US based sender concludes his threatening messages by asking Nyeko to desert the race in favor of Mabike.
PLOT TO HUMULIATE NYEKO IN PUBLIC
Recently Nyeko went to Gaba Landing Site to join with sand drivers in mourning of their colleague. But upon his arrival, he was ambushed by angry electrolates and chased him away like a phone thief as they blamed him for abandoning them.
But Nyeko emphasizes that the entire sager was just stage managed by both Mabike and Kasozi to paint a picture that he’s unpopular.
Nyeko concluded by stressing that “such nasty acts by Mabike and Kasozi make it vivid that the 2026 general elections are likely to be the most violent elections in the history of this country”
MABIKE AND KASOZI’S DEFENSE
When we contacted Kasozi, his known number was off. This forced us to call his close associates who informed us that he’s out of the country right now.
When we contacted Mabike, he told us that he was busy in a certain meeting and promised to reach out to us as soon as possible.

Rusoke Kituma,the police spokesperson was so sorry for Nyeko’s unfortunate situation and adamantly denied for Police to be in the know of it.
He therefore asked him to run fastly to any near by Police Station and report this grave matter such that they commence investigations.
NYEKO IS LOOKING FOR SYMPATHY VOTES
Kazibwe Jamil a political analyst said that Mabike and Kasozi are senior politicians who are past the level of playing cheap politics of black mail. The bitter truth is Nyeko has done a lot of nothing in parliament and on ground.
He added that Nyeko forgot his roots of being a non Muganda who the political wave of People Power helped to secure himself a seat. Thus upon entering parliament, he instead of showing electrolates that he really deserved by lobbing for them and involving himself in activism like the late Ssegirinya, he joined the big boys to chill.
He concluded by advising Nyeko to stop playing this blackmail politics and concentrate more on doing tangible things for his electrolates because all indicators are showing that this time round, he’s not going to earn any sympathy vote.
