Senior Four candidates of Seeta High School, Main Campus Mukono have been urged to embrace integrity, self-control, and a God-fearing spirit as they step into the next phase of their lives.

This message was delivered by Rev. Fr. Peter Ntege, the Chaplain of Seeta High School’s Catholic-based institutions, during his visit to assess the students’ performance in the 2024 Senior Four national examinations. He was accompanied by Rev. Anthony Kabuura, the Chaplain on the Christian side.

Head Teacher Commends the New Curriculum

The Head Teacher, Namulondo Lydia, praised the students for their exceptional performance in the 2024 exams. She thanked the Ministry of Education and the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) for introducing a curriculum that has helped learners gain confidence, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving abilities, rather than simply memorizing content.

“This new curriculum has empowered our students with high-level reasoning skills, which have made them better at expressing themselves and tackling examinations with confidence,” Namulondo stated.

She also noted that Seeta High School, Main Campus, performed remarkably well in science subjects, with the best results seen in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. The school had 251 candidates, and all passed in Result One.

Students Encouraged to Be Role Models

While speaking to journalists, Rev. Fr. Peter Ntege emphasized the need for students to be trustworthy, disciplined, and uphold the good reputation of Seeta High School.

“Our students must be responsible and contribute positively to society. They should avoid unethical behaviors such as corruption and dishonesty,” Rev. Fr. Ntege advised.

Teachers Attribute Success to Workshops and Support

Several teachers credited the students’ success to academic workshops that helped them develop practical skills and apply knowledge effectively. They also thanked the school’s founder, Hon. Dr. J.C. Muyingo, for ensuring that the school provided all necessary resources on time to facilitate learning.

With such a strong academic and moral foundation, the students of Seeta High School, Main Campus are set to excel in their future endeavors and become responsible citizens.
